I was thoroughly impressed with the teachers presentation of the subject and how she so adeptly engaged students in discussions and THE VANGUARD SCHOOL The Vanguard School is an Approved Private School providing programs for and licensed to accept students 421 years of age with a Pennsylvania Department of Special Education exceptionality of autism speech-language disorders emotional disturbance andor other health impairment OHI. Students at The Vanguard School also may experience developmental disabilities learning differences or social-emotional or behavioral difficulties. The Vanguard School provides comprehensive special education and clinical services with a unique focus on the individual student and his or her readiness for life. Since 1959 The Vanguard School has offered an integrated approach to academic social daily living and career-transition skills within a supportive environment where each student is taught to become a contributing member of society. The Vanguard School is a program of Valley Forge Educational Services. THE WYNDCROFT SCHOOL The Wyndcroft School is a co-educational elementary day school for children in grades Early Education through Grade 8. The schools mission is to offer a rigorous academic program enabling the child to establish a firm foundation for a happy and successful future with confidence to succeed in an ever-changing world. The curriculum is traditional and designed to develop the whole child. It emphasizes fundamental skill instruction character development and the pursuit of excellence in English history mathematics science foreign languages and the arts. In a small class setting the school endeavors to provide a safe nurturing environment fostering creativity a love of learning personal integrity determination and respect for others. The Wyndcroft School located at 1395 Wilson Street in Pottstown has been educating the youth of our area since 1918. The schools motto Non Sibi loosely translates from Latin to not for ones self.Community outreach and philanthropic activities are included in Wyndcroft daily activities.From the tracking of Random Acts of Kindness to classroom projects or all-school initiatives Wyndcroft students are taught social responsibility as a foundation of their learning.
