Tile accents highlighting the kitchen backsplash and wet bar are add- ed enhancements to both areas. High hats and decorative lighting, such as lantern il- lumination atop the island and a unique hanging bird lamp over the sink, are among many beautiful touches. “A grey bird just like the seven in our light comes to the win- dow almost every day and tries to get in to join his little metal friends,” reports Valerie. During construction, a third-floor guest suite doubled as the Mannings’ kitchen and family room. “We did very well as work progressed,” notes Valerie. “The crew couldn’t have been more accommodating. They respected our home and cleaned up every single day before leaving. They wel- comed any question we asked. The team is not only talented, but really nice people as well. Our project manager Colleen Traister is wonderful, too. She was extremely helpful throughout the process and always available when needed. I also had a design consultant, Lauren J. Rieger of LJR Interiors in Colleg- eville, who offered input. It was a huge proj- ect and having Colleen and Lauren on hand to bounce ideas around was invaluable. “The customer service Dan continues to provide months later is amazing,” continues Valerie. “Just the other day, he came out and opened our spice rack cabinet door after a jar fell and caused it to jam. Not many com- panies deliver this level of service to ensure customer satisfaction. This example is care far beyond expectation.” “Everyone at Dil- worth’s genuinely wants us to be happy,” adds her husband. “And, we are overjoyed with the makeover.” The Mannings look forward to spending much quality time in their kitchen and en- tertainment center over the holidays. David enjoys cooking and now has all he needs in its proper place. “The renovation is perfect for us,” exults Valerie. “It’s all custom. It’s gorgeous. We are very happy. Dilworth’s did an absolutely extraordinary job.” CCL Dilworth’s Custom Design 175 N. Whitehorse Rd.
